Zeon v Federation night

It's the battle that defines the Universal Century! Choose your allegiance and join us for a special Zeon vs. Federation-themed Gunpla & Chill night.
Will you fight for the Earth Federation with your Gundam and GM, or will you pilot the mighty Zaku and Dom of the Principality of Zeon?
What to expect:
4 hours of focused, social building with fellow fans.
A friendly, low-pressure showcase of your faction's pride.
Fun voting categories like 'Best Paint Job' and 'Best Faction Spirit.'
Photo booth access to capture your masterpiece.
The Grand Prize:
At the end of the night, builders will vote on three categories: Best Overall Build, Best Paint Job, and Best Faction Spirit. The winner of each category becomes a finalist. Then, the group votes one last time to crown the Grand Prize Winner, who takes home a brand new Gunpla kit (valued at $30)!
To ensure you have adequate time to finish your build for judging, please bring a High Grade (HG) or simpler kit. This allows enough time for painting and detailing before the final showcase.
What to expect:
6:30 – 6:45PM: Welcome & Faction Roll Call. Builders check in, announce their faction.
6:45 – 7:00PM: Icebreaker & Kit Showcase. Builders briefly share what they're working on and why they chose their faction.
7:00 – 9:15PM: Open Build Time. 2 hours and 15 minutes of focused, social building. Play Gundam OSTs or epic battle music in the background. You can float around, offer tips, and take candid photos for social media.
9:15 – 9:30PM: Final Touches & Display Setup. Builders put the finishing touches on their kits and move them to the showcase table. Take a "before and after" photo of each person's workspace.
9:30 – 9:45PM: Round 1 Voting – Category Winners. Each attendee gets 3 votes (tokens, sticky notes, or raised hands). They vote for their favorites across three categories: Best Overall Build, Best Paint Job, and Faction Spirit Award.
9:45 – 10:00PM: Vote Counting & Announcement. You count the votes and announce the three Category Winners. Each winner comes up and receives recognition (and maybe a small token like a sticker or keychain).
10:00 – 10:15PM: Grand Prize Showdown. The three category winners are now finalists. All attendees get one final vote (raise hands or drop a token) for the Grand Prize. Announce the winner and award the $30 Gunpla kit.
10:15 – 10:30PM: Group Photo & Wrap-Up. Use your photo booth to take a group shot of all the kits and builders. Encourage everyone to tag @brooklynbuildznyc on Instagram. Share a quick "thank you" and remind them about next Thursday's Gunpla & Chill.
